The Science Success Hub

The GCSE Science membership that turns confusion into confidence, whether your child's in Year 9 or 10 building the foundations, or Year 11 racing towards mock season.

Knowledge, exam skills and confidence all in one place

(without the price tag of 1:1 tuition)

Feel familiar?

Maybe it's chemistry equations that won't balance no matter how many times they're shown.

Maybe it's physics calculations that turn your usually confident teen silent.

Or maybe it's biology where they can recite the facts but fall apart the second a 6-mark question asks them to actually use them.

Whatever is feeling hard for your teenager right now, it's rarely one thing that's made them feel like science just isn't clicking.

A supply teacher here, a missed lesson there, a topic that never quite landed or hours of revision that just don't seem to pay off, and now it all feels like a mountain.

You've watched them do their homework and revise for tests and then bring home a mark that doesn't reflect any of that.

It's clear you need a different approach than simply hoping that school will sort it out.

If they're in Years 9 or 10, this is the moment to catch the gaps before they compound, while there's still time to build real understanding instead of last-minute cramming.

If they're in Year 11, you already know what's coming. Mocks are just around the corner, and "we'll sort it in the summer" isn't an option anymore.

Whatever it is, and whichever year they're in, you're now looking at tutors, and every option feels either too expensive, too narrow, or too intense for an already exhausted teenager.

That is exactly why I created

The Science Success Hub

Knowledge and understanding, exam skills, and revision support together in one membership - where your teen can learn at their own pace whilst closing the gap between what they know and what their exam results show.

Whether they're in Year 9 or 10 with time to build this properly, or Year 11 with mocks already on the calendar, the Hub meets them exactly where they are and gets them moving fast.

Explore what’s included

Everything in the Hub builds around one thing: the Weekly Walkthrough, where Biology, Chemistry and Physics content meets exam questions, week after week.

Here’s how it all comes together:

  • Weekly Walkthroughs across all three sciences, where your teen tackles real exam questions and learns exactly what the examiner is looking for, and exactly why the answer they gave would or wouldn't get the marks.

  • Termly full exam paper walkthroughs, timed right before mocks, so Year 11s walk in having already practised the challenge of a full paper, not just isolated questions, and Year 10s get a head start on what that challenge actually feels like.

  • The Cracking the Content video library can be accessed at any time and worked through at your teen’s own pace. Watch them finally get the "aha" moment on the topics that have never quite landed.

  • My key knowledge resources, turn complex scientific ideas into simple statements in the exact language examiners are looking for, they are perfect for consolidation and revision.

  • Pop-up workshops will upgrade your teen's revision strategies so their effort actually converts to more marks and better grades.

  • Monthly marking and feedback on real exam answers turns "I don't know what I did wrong" into a clear plan for next time.

  • All the structure and expert support of 1:1 tuition, without the intensity or the price tag, fitting around your family's routine.

Whether your child is aiming to pass or pushing for a grade 9, the Hub meets them where they are.

What my students are saying…

Everything your teenager needs for GCSE Science, with nothing left to chance.

If you say yes…

Your teen stops saying "I don't get it" and starts saying "I think I've got this."

They sit down to revise and actually know where to start.

They walk into exams able to answer the question that's being asked, not just recall facts and hope.

Mock and test results start reflecting the effort they're putting in, instead of feeling completely disconnected from it.

If they're in Year 10, they head into Year 11 with the foundations already solid instead of scrambling to build them under mock pressure.

If they're in Year 11, they walk into results day knowing they gave it everything, and so did you.

If you say no…

Nothing changes.

If they're in Year 9 or 10, those gaps have another two years to compound before the exams that actually count.

If they're in Year 11, every mock between now and the real thing chips away a bit more at their confidence, and the gap to their target grade gets harder to close the closer exams get.

But will my teenager actually stick to it?

Join in on the Weekly Walkthroughs and see whether the way I explain it lands for them.

Check out the Cracking the Content video library and see if it helps those topics they never understood.

Print off some key knowledge and practice recalling the key terminology.

If it's not clicking… no awkward conversation, nothing lost.

Fair question, especially when fitting it around already busy schedules.

The good news is you can try it out and see.

What it looks like in practice:

Weekly Walkthroughs - Wednesday 6-7pm

  • 1 hour group calls where I teach the content whilst walking your child through real exam questions.

  • In these sessions we develop both the knowledge and exam skills at once.

  • Can’t make it live? Catch the recording.

Monthly personalised feedback on a 6-mark answer

  • So your teenager can understand exactly what they did well and where marks were lost and why.

Cracking the Content video library (all 3 sciences)

  • Access any time.

  • Let me know which topics your child most needs help with and I’ll add them if the’re not already there.

Termly 90-minute full exam paper walkthroughs

  • The next ones fall in October half-term

  • Perfect timing before the Yr11 mocks and a great opportunity for Yr10s to tackle full GCSE papers with support.

Pop-up workshops

  • On revision timetabling, science-specific revision strategies, and managing exam stress.

Key Knowledge bank

  • A growing bank of resources across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, written concisely and in the exact language examiners are looking for.

About Me…

When my students describe me, two things come up again and again: when I explain stuff, they get it - and they know I'm genuinely in their corner

I've spent 22 years teaching GCSE science in school, with 9 of those as Head of Science.

I've taught thousands of students, and I've seen the same thing happen again and again: bright, capable kids who understand more than their test results show — because no one's explained the content clearly enough, shown them how to revise properly, or taught them how to turn what they know into what the exam actually wants, in the exact language examiners are looking for.

That's the gap I built the Science Success Hub to close.

My real strength isn't just knowing the content inside out - it's breaking down exactly how to tackle an exam question, modelling my thinking out loud, then walking our children through it themselves until it clicks.

When your child becomes part of the hub they get warmth, expertise and commitment in equal amounts.
